Susan Boyle X Factor

Magnificent: Susan Boyle performed a triumphant new version of I Dreamed a Dream at the final but it was not quite enough to win the public vote for the top prize
Susan Boyle is to appear on the The X Factor on the 22 of November and will sing her debut single ‘Wild Horses’
Susan’s appearance is also timed to help the hit ITV show X Factor win the ratings war against the BBC One rival Strictly Come Dancing
“We’re going all out to annihilate Strictly this year,” a source said. “These big signings will really help us.
“Simon Cowell is very excited about Susan coming back but wants to make sure she excels. It’s going to be nerve-racking for her being at the very same place where she lost Britain’s Got Talent. The pressure can get to her and he’s decided not to sign another big-name act for that night so everything is focused around her.”
It was also confirmed yesterday that Susan will be performing on the hit US show Dancing With The Stars.

Robin Williams to play Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle the movie ? read on.

Robin Williams Mrs Doubtfire
Hollywood actor Robin Williams admitted he has asked to play a role as Susan Boyle in a new movie.
Susan was catapulted into fame earlier this year after taking the world by storm and then coming second on the ITV show Britain‘s Got Talent. Ever since her overnight fame sky rocketed her around the globe and caught the attention of movie producers a film has been in the pipeline.
Robin Williams recently spoke to the Daily Star and said “I’ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she’s incredible.”
“That clip of her singing on Britain’s Got Talent was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing.”
“I saw some other clip of her singing ‘Cry Me A River’ a few years ago. It was incredible. She’s got a really great voice.”
One can not help but wonder if his role in the 1993 movie Mrs Doubtfire has anything to do with it

ITV admit did make mistakes in their handling Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent
Sir Michael Grade has admitted that ITV did make mistakes in their handling of Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle.
Susan became a worldwide sensation almost overnight, but was later admitted to the Priory with exhaustion after failing to win the show.
Speaking to BBC , the ITV executive chairman said: “Nobody has ever been that famous so quickly in that short space of time, within days, within hours of the show.
“She threw herself into it all and probably didn’t pace herself. I mean, we didn’t pace her well enough. There were American news networks wanting interviews with her, Japanese networks wanting interviews with her and that demand, it was pretty exhausting.
“If you were an established star used to dealing with it, you would have found it pretty exhausting, so it was a difficult time for her dealing with all this stuff.
“But it was just an extraordinary situation and why shouldn’t she enjoy her success? She’s waited all her life.”
Show judge Simon Cowell recently recognised that he had made errors in his treatment of Susan Boyle.

Susan Boyle desperate to perform at Wembley

Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent
Susan Boyle is reportedly desperate to perform at Wembley on the Britain’s Got Talent live tour.
The singer, who finished second in this year’s competition, had been a doubt for today’s London show after pulling out of previous dates on the UK tour.
Speaking to The Mirror, a spokesperson for the star said: “Susan’s still very tired, but she is really excited about the show and can’t wait to get back on stage.
“If she were told she couldn’t perform it would break her heart.”
Boyle recently completed a stint in the Priory clinic after complaining of physical and mental exhaustion following her experience on the ITV1 show.
It had previously been suggested that the 48-year-old would only perform at a select number of shows on the tour in order to conserve her energy for recording her debut LP.

Paul Potts not competing with Susan Boyle
Paul Potts has insisted that he does not regard Susan Boyle as a rival following her recent success.
Boyle has secured a strong international fanbase since making her debut on Britain’s Got Talent in April, mirroring Potts’s own experience on the ITV1 programme’s first series in 2007.
The Scottish singer is expected to soon join Potts on Simon Cowell’s record label, however the show’s original winner does not believe that they are in competition.
Speaking to Seven magazine, he explained: “We sing different styles of music. And one’s a male voice and one’s a female voice, and that makes a difference.”
Potts also revealed that he has become more ambitious since making his TV debut two years ago.
He commented: “It’s good to get a day off occasionally. But when you’re in the market, you think: ‘What could I be doing with today to become even more successful?’ You think: ‘Just get me some work. Get me a performance on a channel’. You don’t get too many opportunities and you have to grab each one, because I have to be a success if I’m going to continue to do this.”
Potts released his second album Passione earlier this month.

Piers Morgan has no regrets over Boyle

Piers Morgan on Susan Boyle
Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has insisted that the show’s producers did all they could to protect Susan Boyle.
The ITV1 programme was accused of exploitation after Boyle checked in to The Priory clinic with exhaustion last week.
Reports also claimed that the Scottish singer had suffered a breakdown after facing press criticism and losing out to dance troupe Diversity in the live final.
Writing in The Mail On Sunday, Morgan explained: “I don’t blame the papers, TV and radio for pursuing the story, or even how they pursued it. But I do find some of their shameless finger-pointing faintly ridiculous.
“I cannot think of a single thing more that anyone could have done for Susan. Or a single rule change that could be made to protect future contestants from dealing with the unique problems of experiencing the unprecedented worldwide attention she has had.
“Susan wanted to be on this show, has no regrets about doing it, is well on the road to a full recovery already and came out of The Priory last week after just a few days.
“Now she wishes to pursue her dream of making an album, a disc that I would guess might sell somewhere north of ten million copies given her astounding popularity in America, making her the biggest selling female artist of the next 12 months.”
Boyle was recently tipped to make a comeback on the Britain’s Got Talent live tour following her recovery.

Gordon Brown checks in on Susan Boyle

Gorden Brown trying to sing like Susan Boyle
BRITISH Prime Minister Gordon Brown says he has spoken to judges of talent show Britain’s Got Talent to check on contestant Susan Boyle.
Allies of singing sensation Boyle rallied round as it emerged she was rushed to a London clinic with exhaustion and possible mental health problems soon after a shock defeat.
Boyle, whose frumpy appearance hid a soaring voice which made her a global star, was taken by ambulance to the Priory Clinic in north London on Sunday accompanied by paramedics and police after acting strangely at her hotel, The Sun newspaper reported.
The news came hot on the heels of her surprise defeat late on Saturday in the final of the Britain’s Got Talent television show, when she was voted into second place by the public behind urban dance troupe Diversity.
In a sign of how big the story has become, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said he had spoken to the show’s judges about Boyle because he “wanted to be sure that she was OK”, he told ITV television on Monday.
“Britain’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan said Boyle was “essentially fine” and predicted she would bounce back for a successful career after some rest and recuperation.
“I believe she’s going to have a few days of rest, get better, get her energy back, get some sleep, eat properly again and then live her real dream,” he told Sky News television.
“I think that Susan will get back soon and get into a studio and record an album that I would imagine in the next few months is going to be one of the biggest selling albums of the year.
“That will be the real Susan Boyle fairytale.”
The Priory, which says on its website it specialises “in the treatment of mental health problems”, said it did not comment on individual cases.
It is part of an exclusive chain of private clinics known for treating troubled performers including Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty.
Asked about the reports, a Scotland Yard spokesman said police were called to a hotel at 6pm on Sunday “to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act”. They did not confirm her identity in line with policy.
