Susan Boyle on holidays in Scotland

Susan Boyle recently returned to her native Scotland for a holiday.

Susan is currently recording her debut album while living in Kensington, London

A friend of the singer said “As soon as she got some time off, there was never any chance Susan would head for St Tropez or Barbados.

“She was always going home to Blackburn. It is the place where she feels happiest and most at ease.”

Susan is expected to make around £5 million, stayed in the council house where she has always lived.

Attended church, read fanmail and relaxed with friends, Susan also managed to get some  fish and chips and went shopping.

Susan Boyle wants to move on from Scotland

Susan Boyle has announced that she no longer wants Scotland to be her permanent home.

Susan had previously sparked rumours that she was keen to stick close to her roots after making plans to buy her council house in Blackburn, West Lothian.

Recently though in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Susan confirmed: “I’ll go back to visit but you have to move on sometime.”

It’s believed that Susan has lived in her Scottish home since she was a baby

She has since secured fans across the world after becoming a worldwide sensation and is currently working on her debut album.

Susan also added: “It does feel unreal. It will take a bit of adjusting to because I’ve led a sheltered life, I know.”

Susan Boyle to buy her Blackburn council house

Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle is going to buy her council house in Blackburn.

Susan has lived in the semi-detached property since she was a baby,  but was never able to afford a mortgage until now.

Susan has been recording her debut album in London recently after being snapped up by Simon Cowell‘s SyCo record label and is currently staying in an upmarket flat in the capital.

Susan’s  older brother Gerry told the Daily Record: “Susan walked into the local council office and told them that although she was living in London, she didn’t want them to rent her house to anyone else.

“I think people were a bit shocked to see her but they told her they had no plans to let it go to anyone else – and now she wants to buy it. She will never forget her roots.”

Discussing the other big changes in his sister’s life, he added: “She has been given a mobile phone for the first time but can only make calls. She hasn’t got her head round texting yet.”

Simon Cowell recently promised that Boyle will “surprise a lot of people” with her debut disc.

Amanda Holden – I predicted Boyle’s breakdown

Amanda Holden has claimed that she predicted Susan Boyle’s would have a breakdown days before it occurred even though she earlier stated ‘Susan Boyle has no underlying mental issues’

Susan Boyle was checked into The Priory rehab clinic after coming second to Diversity in the show’s final.  The shows producers later confirmed that she was “exhausted and emotionally drained”.

Reflecting on the whole event , Holden told the Daily Star: “I was worried Susan wouldn’t be able to handle it. Then, a week later she checked into The Priory. I was like Mystic Mandy.”

Susan Boyle eventually left the after five days and was instantly snapped up by Simon Cowell‘s record label. She is now currently working on her debut album.

Simon Cowell recently stated  that Susan’s breakdown came because she “didn’t know how to cope with losing”.

Susan’s brother  Gerry has agreed with the music mogul’s view, commenting: “Susan doesn’t take rejection very well. That’s not to say she doesn’t bounce back, she does. It’s a lack of confidence and a case of getting overworked up. With Britain’s Got Talent, it all just became too much.”

Susan Boyle to be Harper’s Bazaar cover star

Britain’s Got Talent discovery Susan Boyle is going  to become the cover star of a top US magazine.

According to the Daily Record, Susan recently was in a photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar at a UK country house and will appear in the publication’s September issue.

A source told the newspaper – “She’s already got a very high profile in the States but this shoot will propel her on to an altogether different planet”.

“It’s very high-end, stylish and she looks amazing. Susan loved trying on all the designer dresses and even had her hair tinted for the occasion.”

“The director was more than happy for her to look as she does on the telly but Susan wanted to try something different.”

Susan Boyle has also been very busy recording her debut album in recent weeks after finishing in second place on Britain’s Got Talent in June.

She had previously become an world wide internet sensation, with her original audition for the programme attracting more than 130 million views on YouTube.

Susan Boyle has spoken out about the dramatic impact that her sudden fame had on her emotionally.

The star of Britain‘s Got Talent, who was thrust to worldwide celebrity status after singing ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘ ,  later spent some time in The Priory after suffering from a reported breakdown.

The reality TV singer told Today – “The impact… like a demolition ball. You know… anyone who has that kind of impact finds it really hard to get a head around it.”

Talking about her recovery, she continued: “I’ve got to be honest here. I guess I had to get my head around it, but through the guidance of a great team, and they are very good, I was able to see that in perspective and really turn that around a little.”

Susan is currently working with Simon Cowell on her debut album.

Simon Cowell Susan Boyle album will surprise

Simon Cowell has claimed that Susan Boyle’s debut album will surprise many listeners.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge insisted that the LP will not include throwaway “show tunes” and claimed that the Scottish singer was “blown away” by some of the tracks they picked to record.

“We’re not going to throw out some souvenir album of show tunes which everyone expects,” he told Extra.

“We went through about 350 to 400 songs to choose from. She was blown away by some of the song choices… She’s going to surprise a lot of people with this record.”

Boyle finished runner-up on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, behind dance troupe Diversity.

Susan Boyle has confirmed that she wants to stay in the public eye following her success on Britain’s Got Talent.

The 48-year-old star is currently working on her debut album after finishing in second place on the ITV1 talent show Britain’s Got Talent in May.

Susan Boyle’s original audition for the programme became a YouTube sensation earlier this year, but her achievements were later marred by reports of an emotional breakdown due to the pressures of fame.

Speaking about her experiences for NBC News, the star revealed: “It’s just been unbelievable – it’s indescribable. Being plucked from obscurity is a bit like going on a long journey, really – you don’t know what’s going to happen. You don’t know how it’s going to end.”

She added: “I don’t want it to end. It’s just really good.”

Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell recently promised that Boyle’s debut single would be “fantastic”.
