Max Clifford has claimed that Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle is still eager to continue singing following her admission to the Priory clinic.

The 48-year-old, who finished runner-up in the competition, checked herself into the North London facility at the weekend after feeling mentally and physically exhausted.

Speaking to Sky News, Clifford said: “Provided she’s given a few days and then allowed to be as normal as possible, she should be fine. She is recovering well. All she wants to do is sing.”

The PR guru went on to say that judge Simon Cowell plans to help Boyle launch a singing career once she is fully recuperated.

“She’s going to have potentially huge album sales, particularly in America. Americans absolutely love her,” he explained.

“Everyone wants her on their show singing. That gives her massive potential, and Simon will make sure she has the best songs and the best productions.”
